If large quantities of bulky waste or recyclables need to be compacted in several open containers that can be placed in a row, the Roll-Packer transfer system is the ideal solution.
The BERGMANN transfer system is a modular rail-based construction and can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. Based on the original Roll-Packer principle, known for its reliability and quality, the transfer system can be used with any number of open containers. The cost savings from minimizing emptying trips are multiplied. More than 40 years of experience set standards in durability, stability, and ease of maintenance.

Similar to stationary Roll-Packers, the Roll-Packer transfer systems are available with hydraulic or electric roller drives. The continuous rolling motion of the heavy compaction drum constantly breaks up, shreds, and compacts the material being fed in, achieving an average compaction ratio of 3:1. Cost savings of up to 66% lead to a rapid return on investment for the system.

Mode of operation

  1. Open container before compaction, conventionally filled with cable drums.
  2. During compaction with the roll-packer displacement system, filling can continue continuously.
  3. The specially equipped compaction roller breaks, tears and compacts the waste.
  4. The result: compaction to a minimum of the original volume.
