Machines
for waste management for over 50 years.
1970 – The foundation
Bergmann – machines for waste management – was founded as a private company in 1970 in Meppen in Emsland by Heinz Bergmann and his wife Marianne Bergmann.
The aim from the outset was to make waste management more efficient.
The first development of the wet waste compactor with the pendulum piston in the 1970s marked the introduction of the first waste compactor. The picture shows Heinz Bergmann founder in the 70s.

1978 – First move

2004 – new administration building
In 2004, a new administration building with 800 square meters of floor space was built, which has spacious training and meeting rooms.

2018 – next generation
In 2018, the company was handed over to the next two generations Heinz Bergmann and Christian Janssen
