In addition to internal, consistent and intensive material and production controls, as well as testing of long-term performance, all products are also certified by independent testing institutes:

Test mark

Test marks are intended as an orientation and decision-making aid so that a selection can be made from the large number of products available on the market. It is nothing more than a sign of confidence in the quality of the product or in the performance of the company.

Many of Bergmann’s series machines are certified in accordance with TÜV specifications.

TÜV Product Service has been assessing the respective product for years as an approved testing body in accordance with the requirements of the German Equipment Safety Act (GSG), the accident prevention regulations of the employers’ liability insurance association, the DIN and EN standards, (comma) and other generally recognized rules of technology. This involves regular monitoring of the production facilities.

Bergmann machines are GS-tested.

In order to be allowed to affix the GS mark, the manufacturer must have their product tested by an approved testing body, the TÜV. If all requirements are met, the manufacturer receives a product-related certificate and is thus allowed to affix the GS mark to his product. To maintain the certificate, annual inspections of the production facilities are carried out.

Bergmann machines have the CE mark.

With the CE marking, the responsible manufacturer confirms the conformity of the product with the applicable EU directives and compliance with the “essential requirements” specified therein in accordance with Art. 95 of the EU Treaty (so-called internal market directives).

The EU Directive defines numerous health and safety requirements as minimum requirements for products, which must not be undercut. A product may only be placed on the market and put into operation if it complies with the provisions of all applicable EU directives and if a conformity assessment procedure has been carried out in accordance with the applicable EU directives.
