The BERGMANN pendulum piston technology of the waste press boxes (wet waste press) enables high compaction of waste in a press container that can be equipped with a watertight seal. Special features of the waste compactor boxes invented by BERGMANN 50 years ago are hygienic self-cleaning, easy emptying and continuous loading.
The technically and constructively mature BERGMANN waste compactor boxes of the 414 series for skip loaders have a low operating noise level, are durable and particularly low-maintenance. The power unit can be pulled out to the side for easy access to all important components. Furthermore, the hydraulic cylinders are fitted with lubrication points on the outside as standard. This increases the safety of personnel, especially when dealing with hospital waste and waste in retirement homes.

Mode of operation

Placement of the self-cleaning pendulum piston in the rear position.
During the pressing stroke, the entire feed chamber is available for continuous feeding.
Feeding can continue on the return stroke. The pendulum piston underruns the material and throws it in front of the container opening.
Placement of the pendulum piston at the end of the press stroke. The waste has been pushed under the crushing edge into the container (wet waste compactor).
