TILTING device extHKV
The BERGMANN lifting and tipping device is the ideal addition to existing large waste containers. It can be used to locally merge and empty existing standard containers up to 600 liters into larger containers, such as open containers, screw presses or press boxes.
The external lifting and tipping device differs in that it first performs a linear vertical movement and then only performs the tipping movement from a certain height. This makes it possible to empty almost all standard containers with different comb or spigot receptacles (spigot receptacle, comb receptacle OR spigot and comb receptacle equipment possible).
Technical features
Two-hand operation
Thanks to the safe two-hand operation, the user cannot reach into the danger zone during the tipping process, but can stop the container in any position by controlling the tipping process.
Trunnion mount with safety claw
As standard, the integrated lift and tilt device for the spigot pick-up is equipped with an automatic safety claw for the container spigots, which reduces the risk of the container "jumping out"! Safety claw is open. The container is still on the ground or is being lifted. Safety claw is closed. The container is in the position for emptying the material into the APB/MPB.
Mechanical deflection
The tilting movement is realized by the robust, insensitive mechanical deflection. When the tilting movement is interrupted, the tilting device is held in the respective position.
Comb holder with clamping
The comb pick-up is first raised by the vertical movement, whereby it can pick up containers with different comb heights from approx. 810 mm to 1100 mm. Clamping takes place mechanically during the tilting movement.
Base frame
The external lift and tilt device is designed for free-standing use. It does not need to be fixed to the floor or containers. The tilting device is also available as a stationary unit or as a mobile unit with castors.
Chute
The chute guarantees clean tipping of bulk goods. Depending on customer requirements, the chute can be manufactured in a wide variety of shapes to guarantee precise tipping of the bulk material.
A wide variety of containers
Experience has shown that containers of various sizes are used at many locations. From 80 liter to 120 liter to 360 liter containers. These container types naturally have different comb heights due to their size. Due to the way they work (first lift vertically, then tilt), they can also be tilted at the same time.
Tipping large waste containers
Series of pictures shows the tipping process of a large 1100-liter waste container with a swing lid. First, the container is lifted vertically. This principle enables the simultaneous use of containers with different heights. This means that the HKV does not have to be manually pre-adjusted to different container heights. Only at a certain point is the tipping process initiated by the mechanical deflection and the container finally emptied completely!
Special constructions
Special designs of the lifting and tipping device on a ramp are also possible. Here, the drive is electro-hydraulic via a hydraulic unit and hydraulic cylinder or electromechanical via a geared motor and chain drive (depending on the tipping weight of the bulk material and the location). Safe operation is also ensured by two-hand operation. The tipping process is not carried out by lifting the container and then tipping it as described above, but by a direct rotary movement of the container. Therefore, only one comb or pivot height is possible for this special design. The tipping weight is reduced to approx. 300 kg!
