As a design engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for components, assemblies and machines. Your contribution will be aimed at constantly improving our products and realizing new ideas. Be part of a team that is actively shaping the future of the mechanical engineering industry!
Responsibilities
Your To Do’s:
- Development of design solutions through the development and design of components, assemblies and machines
- Creation of concept and variant designs taking into account the modular structure, as well as the further development of the modular system
- Carrying out risk assessments of machines and devices
- Design optimization of components, assemblies and machines, taking into account functional, material, manufacturing and economic aspects as well as carrying out hazard and risk analyses.
- Supervision of prototype construction and coordination of test runs
- Support for customer-specific projects in connection with sales and production
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary development project teams
- Assistance with technical customer inquiries
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training and subsequent technical college training (e.g. state-certified technician) and ideally several years of experience in the design or development environment, if necessary additional job-related further training or equivalent knowledge acquired by other means
- Alternatively, a degree in mechanical engineering or vehicle construction or equivalent knowledge acquired by other means would be desirable
- Technical understanding of electrical and hydraulic machine controls
- You are characterized by systematic and structured work as well as a pronounced technical understanding and an affinity for metal construction
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
- Good knowledge of 3D CAD systems (preferably AutoCAD Inventor) and MS Office
- Ability to work in a team
